The role involves creating the conditions for our tenants to feel safe and satisfied in their work and living environments. This is an incredibly important and meaningful job, as our tenants are the biggest reason for Balder's success.

We are currently looking for a summer temp for the position of property caretaker.

What does a property caretaker do at Balder? Our property caretakers in Skövde appreciate the opportunity to manage their own workday, which includes tasks such as:

• Performing maintenance and repairs at our tenants' homes as well as on our properties, e.g., installation and repair of white goods, servicing entrances and locks, replacing kitchen doors, etc.
• Conducting rounds and working to keep residential areas clean and tidy. We strive for order and cleanliness, and if we see litter on the ground, we take care of it immediately!
• Coming up with suggestions for improvements and action plans that help us become even better. We love innovative thinking!

Who are you as a person? You need to enjoy interacting with people. It is important that you like providing good service and building relationships, as you are the face of the company. How you have learned to take care of properties is actually not decisive. Perhaps you have studied, perhaps you have renovated at home yourself, or even built something? Some of our property caretakers have backgrounds as craft teachers, dancers, and car mechanics. What they have in common is their interest in our properties, tenants, and colleagues.

We also look for strong problem-solving skills, specifically the ability to combine knowledge with ingenuity. You need to be responsible by driving your cases from troubleshooting to completion, while being unpretentious and ready to roll up your sleeves and help where needed!

Some parts of your work are digital, so some computer proficiency/use of an iPhone is required. You must also be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, hold a manual B-driver's license, and have good physical fitness as the role involves active work.
