About the Role

This is a full-time consultancy assignment between July 1st and August 31st. You will be employed by Bravura and work as a consultant at Gerlach Sweden AB.

With a network of 170 offices in 27 European countries and more than 750 customs specialists, they cover the entire spectrum of customs services; import, export, and transit, as well as complex customs solutions, logistics chain valuation, and various consulting services – including training in collaboration with various universities.

In other European countries, Gerlach, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group, benefits from an international partner network. A total of 1000 customs specialists and consultants in 27 European countries are available to assist with customs matters.

💼 Responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for preparing customs declarations, ensuring that all necessary documents and information for goods crossing customs borders are correctly filled out and submitted according to current regulations. You compile customs documentation and forward it to the designated release points to ensure smooth and efficient transport of goods. Part of the job also involves communicating with customers to ensure that all customs-related questions are handled correctly and quickly.

Finally, it is important that all operations comply with current laws and regulations. The role therefore involves carefully observing restrictions and authority requirements. It also means following relevant customs and transport regulations to avoid problems and ensure the company meets all legal requirements.

The position is a consultancy assignment from July 1st to August 31st. You are expected to be able to work full-time throughout the period.

• Prepare customs declarations
• Compile customs documentation and forward it to designated release points
• Communicate with customers and, in some cases, transport companies and drivers
• Observe current restrictions/regulations (authority requirements)

🔍 Education, Experience, and Personal Attributes

• Completed upper secondary education; any form of customs training is highly meritorious
• Experience with preparing customs declarations
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
