About the RoleWe are now looking for several measurement and waste technicians for the Barsebäck Nuclear Power Plant.
In this role, you will work within measurement technology and material handling in one of Europe's largest decommissioning projects – the dismantling of Barsebäck 1 and 2. You will become an important part of ensuring that radioactive material is handled safely, correctly, and in accordance with current regulations.
In the role, you will mainly work with:
- Radiological measurements of various building areas.
- Radiological measurements on different types of demolition components.
- Ensuring that all measurements are documented and registered correctly in designated databases.
- The work may occasionally take place on scaffolding, boom lifts, or cherry pickers.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Completed upper secondary education.
- Category B driver's license.
- Basic computer skills.
- Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
If you already have an approved radiation protection training (Category C), this is a big plus and gives you a good start in the role.
Meritorious qualifications:
- Experience from the nuclear power industry.
- Lift and forklift certificates.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
The PositionEmployment type: The position begins with a paid radiation protection training course around week 35, 2026. Upon successful completion of the training, a fixed-term employment will apply, with the possibility of the employment later converting to a permanent position.
Location: Barsebäck Nuclear Power Plant
Working hours: Daytime
