We are looking for a Business Manager within Warehouse and Logistics for our client in the traffic industry. The client is seeking an independent and structured person who can take a holistic approach to warehouse operations and create order, control, and long-term stability in logistics. The role is close to the operations and is about as much about improving working methods as it is about ensuring that daily work runs smoothly.

You will work in a small team with significant responsibility, where you are expected to contribute with both operational drive and a focus on improvement. The assignment involves creating clearer routines, securing data quality, and developing collaboration between the warehouse, purchasing, planning, and finance.

What the client needs:

• A person who can take responsibility for several warehouses and get them to function efficiently in practice
• Someone who creates structure where there is currently ambiguity
• A steady hand in warehouse administration, inventory, and follow-up of warehouse balances
• Ability to see the big picture in the logistics flow and drive improvements, even though parts of the process lie with external parties
• A team player who can collaborate cross-functionally and drive dialogue with several internal stakeholders

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for and coordinate several warehouses, including regular site visits
• Ensure correct warehouse balances and high quality in warehouse data
• Plan and follow up on inventories and handle discrepancies
• Develop and improve working methods within the warehouse and adjacent logistics flows
• Collaborate closely with functions such as purchasing, finance, and planning

Requirements (must be met):

• At least 5 years of documented experience working in warehouse operations
• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse administration, including work with warehouse balances, inventories, discrepancy handling, and management of material and facility registers
• Multi-year (at least 5 years) experience working in warehouse or business systems, such as Unit4 (warehouse module), Unit4 Agresso, or IBM Maximo
• Post-secondary education (at least YH/KY level) in fields such as construction and civil engineering, infrastructure, or economics, verified with certificate or diploma

Meritorious experience:

• Experience in warehouse management related to infrastructure or vehicle materials (at least 2 years)
• Experience working in projects together with other functions, such as administration, purchasing, planning, or finance (at least 2 years)
• Previous work in the public sector or other operations with public governance (at least 1 year)

The assignment is security-classified, which means a security clearance check will be conducted before the assignment starts.
