Your responsibilities
In the role of team leader, you have operational responsibility for leading, planning, and distributing the daily work of the elevator technicians in Södermanland & Östergötland and surrounding areas. You are an present leader who acts as the link between technicians, customers, and the department manager, ensuring that the work is performed efficiently, safely, and with high quality.
A central part of the role is to receive and assess incoming assignments, as well as plan and follow up on new installations, service, and repair work. You work with the entire process – from site visits and planning start to implementation, economic follow-up, and budget per project. At the same time, you contribute to both short- and long-term planning of the department's operations.
You are also responsible for personnel-related matters such as staff meetings, ongoing follow-up, and support to employees in their daily work. Working environment is a natural part of your assignment, where you conduct daily risk analyses and work towards a safe and secure workplace.
The role also includes administrative tasks, such as invoice processing, material purchasing, inventory and warranty follow-up, as well as handling complaints according to the company's guidelines. You have regular contact with customers regarding planning, execution, and follow-up of assignments and collaborate with both internal and external parties, such as suppliers, industry organizations, and authorities. With a clear customer focus, you always strive for high customer satisfaction and long-term relationships at all levels.
THIS IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Who are you?
We are looking for you who currently work as an elevator technician and want to take the next step in your career, or you who already have experience in a leadership role within the industry. You thrive with responsibility, have good planning skills, and a natural ability to get both people and technology to work together.
You likely have a post-secondary education or equivalent experience, and feel confident working in both operational and administrative systems. You master Swedish and English well in speech and writing and hold a valid driver's license (Category B).
As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and maintain the big picture even when the pace is high. You are communicative, team-oriented, and at the same time comfortable making your own decisions. With order, engagement, and an improvement-driven work approach, you contribute to the continued development of both the team and the business.
Employment and recruitment process
The position is a permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period. The employment is with our client, and the role includes a company car.
