About the Role

At Uniflex, we are currently looking for a traveling service technician for an exciting assignment within a vital public service. In this role, you will work with technical installations in bus and train environments, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of public transport every day. You will be employed by Uniflex and work on a project basis as part of a small, cohesive team at our client's site, performing work on vehicles across Sweden.

The position starts immediately and begins with a three-month contract, with the intention of extension for the right candidate. The role is varied, combining technology, IT, and practical work, where no two days are alike. You will receive thorough training and the opportunity to gradually grow into the role.

The work is primarily during daytime hours, although evening and weekend work may occur. Travel within Sweden is a natural part of the job, and overnight stays in other locations may be required.

Main Responsibilities

In this role, your main tasks will include:

• Installation and assembly of technical equipment in buses and trains
• Work with IT and electronic systems such as payment systems, cameras, and other vehicle-related technology
• Disassembly, troubleshooting, and upgrading of existing systems
• Interpreting electrical diagrams and technical documentation
• Project work together with colleagues, where you will gradually take on greater responsibility

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in technology and experience in technical installation or assembly. You are hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrive in an environment where quality and safety are the focus. You also have a good understanding of electronics.

As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and have a natural ability to collaborate with others.

Qualifications

• Category B driver's license (required)
• Previous experience in technical installation or assembly (required)
• Experience reading electrical diagrams or vehicle electronics (meritorious)
