About Us

Södertull Healthcare Centre is located in the south of central Gävle in a beautiful historic building, within walking distance of the city centre and train station, with good public transport connections. We have approximately 45 employees, including a doctor's office staffed by permanent doctors, a district nursing clinic, Child Health Services (BVC), home care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and a psychosocial team. We are responsible for several care and nursing homes as well as the Swedish Migration Agency's detention centre in Gävle. We also host several specialist clinics. We are an educational centre focused on guiding medical and nursing students into their professional careers.

Job Responsibilities

2 positions available.

As a Nurse/District Nurse, you will work in a team with doctors and other staff at the healthcare centre. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills as a primary contact for some of our most vulnerable patients. You will have a varied daily routine with many different tasks and areas of responsibility, including work on the family doctor on-call service when needed.

As a Nurse/District Nurse with us, you will work with:

• Clinic work, both planned and acute
• Home visits and care planning

Qualifications

We are looking for a positive and creative person who wants to contribute to the development of our operations. We have several development projects underway and look forward to having you join our team. You take responsibility and work independently, have a good attitude towards others, strong collaboration skills, and enjoy getting involved. You need to have a genuine interest in people and keep the patient in focus. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and your ability to create a pleasant and good working atmosphere.

As a Nurse/District Nurse, you must be a licensed nurse or trained district nurse.
