Mörbylånga Municipality is located not far from Kalmar. If you take the bus across the bridge, you will be with us within 15 minutes. The main towns are Färjestaden and Mörbylånga.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for temporary staff for Home Care and Elderly Care Facilities in Mörbylånga Municipality. We have 10 positions available. Our workplaces are located in Färjestaden, Algutsrum, Mörbylånga, and Degerhamn. If you take the public bus across the Öland Bridge, it is approximately 15 minutes from Kalmar to Färjestaden.

We work with person-centered care and support to give our users a meaningful, secure, and active daily life. We assist with all daily tasks such as personal hygiene (showering and intimate hygiene), walks, administering medication at the right time, and household chores like cleaning, laundry, and cooking. It is a varied job where you meet different people every day and work in changing environments. Your help will mean a lot to our elderly residents.

In home care, we use the "Mörbylånga Model," where the work group itself helps plan the day and what is best for our elderly. We do not have minute-by-minute control as in many other municipalities. Our model has been appreciated by both our elderly residents and the staff working in home care.

Qualifications

You must be at least 18 years old. Previous work experience in the field is desirable but not required.

To be considered for employment, you must be able to present an extract from the police's criminal record register for HVB (Home Care, Care, and Housing).

If you have the KIVRA app, you can have the criminal record register sent directly to your KIVRA app.

Since some home care groups work over a large geographical area, we would prefer that you have a Category B driver's license. It is also advantageous if you are accustomed to cycling.

As part of our recruitment process within care services, you may be asked to take a language test to assess your level of Swedish speaking and writing skills.

Terms of Employment
