The Role of Night Nurse

As a night nurse, your work involves planning, leading, and organizing care together with the patient and other professions. The work is varied and stimulating, as no two nights are the same. As a nurse, you will develop through multifaceted tasks inherent to broad medical emergency care.

Your Future Workplace

The Medicine and Geriatrics Clinic is the largest clinic at Värnamo Hospital with many operations under one roof. We have three inpatient care units with different focuses on medical specialties. The clinic also has outpatient care, including medical day care and the dialysis unit. Our outpatient activity covers all medical specialties.

Our premises are well-planned and modern, and we work with the patient in focus. Here you work together with both experienced colleagues and new employees, all with great commitment.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with a genuine interest in people and who constantly keep the patient in focus. We would like you to have previous experience of working in a hospital, but this is not a requirement.

You thrive in a workplace where you have the opportunity to work with mixed tasks at a varied pace. Therefore, it is important for us that you are a flexible person with a pleasant attitude and have a good ability to structure your work. We place great emphasis on qualities such as teamwork and personal suitability. Our Offer to You

We offer you a permanent position at 68.63% (34 hours per week) starting as agreed. Other employment degrees can be discussed. To ensure your recovery, we have fixed schedules. You who work at night fill an important function, and we offer you a salary supplement of 6,000 SEK based on full-time work!

We have a mentor employed at the clinic who is available as extra support to all newly graduated nurses but also for you with experience as needed.
