As a Release Manager, you have overall responsibility for driving the release process. You work both operationally within sprints and strategically with long-term planning. In this role, you become a central part of planning, coordinating, and delivering releases for the software platforms in a company within high-tech product development. You are responsible for the entire release cycle from planning to final delivery, ensuring that releases are quality-assured, well-documented, and ready for production. The work covers both common computer modules as well as special tools and test equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and coordinating platform releases throughout the process in collaboration with embedded development, the testing department, and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring that dependencies are identified and managed.
• Tracking progress and visualizing status in tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Identifying, coordinating, and driving the handling of deviations and bugs.
• Ensuring that the release process follows established guidelines.
• Coordinating final testing and ensuring that deliveries meet the correct quality standards.

The work is carried out in a sprint-based setup with two-week sprints and quarterly planning, where you play a key role in creating structure and clarity for all involved stakeholders.

• Degree in embedded software, electronics, mechatronics, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in relevant work, such as project manager, developer, or similar.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge or background in embedded systems.
