At Forenede Care, we are looking for a nursing assistant or care aide who wants to work full-time or part-time during the summer at our cozy senior living facility, Rådmansgatan.

As a nursing assistant or care aide at Forenede Care, you will provide excellent care, service, and support to our residents.

Rådmansgatan is a specialized housing facility for the elderly and sick, with 34 places. It is located on the beautiful island of Frösön, within walking distance to the city center. There are good bus connections and parking available.

In the role of nursing assistant or care aide, you will perform care and support tasks based on the customer's wishes and in accordance with current assistance decisions, with a strong focus on quality. This includes personal hygiene, assistance with meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and social interaction. Social interaction may involve conversations, games, cycling, music activities, or similar. You will also perform delegated tasks from licensed staff, such as medication administration and exercise.

As a summer substitute, you have good opportunities to secure new temporary positions or permanent employment.

Job Description

We are currently looking for several colleagues for part-time summer substitute positions. Start date is to be agreed upon during our summer period.

To be considered for this position, you must:

  • Present a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant.
  • Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
  • Provide a certificate of good conduct (criminal record check) ordered from the police before employment.
  • Present a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or an approved permit via the Swedish Migration Agency.

Previous experience in elderly care and dementia care is considered an asset.
