Your job this summer

As a summer substitute, your most important task is to create security and be a support in the customers' daily lives and home environments. Together with colleagues within home care, home nursing, and home rehabilitation, you contribute to a secure whole for the customer. You work as needed, from occasional shifts during the spring to longer, scheduled periods during the summer. Your job may involve:

• providing services in our security housing and with customers in the local area,
• providing support in personal care,
• helping with service tasks in the home,
• documenting and performing medication delegation – after training and supervision by a nurse,
• encouraging activities such as breakfast clubs, game sessions, and excursions,
• being a companion and social support in everyday life.

Who we are looking for

You are over 18 years old and want to work extra alongside studies or another job. Perhaps you are studying to become an assistant nurse or a nurse – or you already have experience in care work. You thrive in a job where you work independently and follow routines, but at the same time are always part of a team. You are attentive to needs, take initiative when needed, and meet people with respect and warmth.

Your qualifications

• You are over 18 years old.
• You can ride a bicycle.
• You speak and write Swedish fluently, with a passing grade in Swedish 1 or SAS 1 (high school level), and have basic computer skills.
• Education or work experience within healthcare and social care is meritorious, and experience from home care is an extra plus.

Bräcke Home Care T1/Valla

At home care Valla/T1, assistant nurses, nurses, and the operations manager work together in a positive and cohesive work group. We have fun at work here and value a pleasant atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. The work is based in the security housing Solrosen and Översten and also takes place in the easily cycled local area around Valla/T1.
