ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Mechanical Designer, you will become part of a small, cohesive team where flexibility and collaboration are central parts of daily life. You will work on the development of new products, focusing on the construction and design of components in both steel and plastic. The role involves close collaboration with several functions such as the lab, procurement, and external suppliers. You will also work closely with the testing department to evaluate prototypes and ensure high quality in the final product. Here you will play a key role in contributing to future product development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Independently plan and drive your design work
• Work with design and construction in Catia V5
• Collaborate with internal departments, such as the lab and procurement
• Dialogue with suppliers regarding technical solutions
• Participate in testing and evaluation of prototypes
• Ensure quality and functionality in new products

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Have a university or civil engineering degree in mechanical engineering or a similar field
• Have approximately 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design
• Have good knowledge of Catia V5
• Have experience in design in steel and plastic
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work

It is an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge in mechatronics or electronics

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday.
