We are now looking for a Operations and Maintenance Technician in Avesta.

About the Role

As an Operations and Maintenance Technician, you will work in a team consisting of the Operations and Maintenance Manager, Supervisor, Planner, and other technicians. Together, you are responsible for ensuring the facility reaches its full potential and is operated in an environmentally friendly, safe, and economical manner through continuous improvement.

The role is part of a team where understanding the entirety of our processes is crucial. With a rolling schedule of tasks, the role includes operations monitoring, fuel filling using a crane, optimization of production units and distribution networks, as well as both preventive and corrective maintenance.

The work is a shift-based position, and the shift schedule also includes periods of day work.

Your Profile

We are looking for you with a technical background, for example as an operations technician, process operator, mechanic, or electrician. For the role, proficiency in computers, a valid B-driver's license, and good knowledge of Swedish (both spoken and written) are required.

Experience with combustion processes, training in operations and maintenance, or good competence in mechanics or electrical work is considered an asset.

As a person, you are responsible and thrive working independently. You are helpful, goal-oriented, and maintain your composure in high-pressure situations. You contribute to an open and solution-oriented collaboration within the team and have a desire to continuously develop and learn new things.
