We are now looking for a mechanical designer who wants to become part of our client, which operates in the consulting industry, and contribute to exciting development projects.

As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on varied assignments where you encounter new technical challenges, develop your skills, and collaborate with experienced engineers across several disciplines.

As a mechanical designer, you work with product development within mechanics in projects where both assignments and tasks may vary. Projects may, for example, involve the development of advanced machinery and production equipment, technical solutions within the defense industry, or work related to electrical and energy systems.

The assignments may involve developing new technical solutions or further developing and optimizing existing products. The work takes place both with our clients and in our in-house projects.

Depending on the project, the work may include design, CAD, project management, and prototype manufacturing, offering good opportunities for variation and development in the role.

You are an engineer who likes to understand the big picture – how design, production, and verification are interconnected. You work in a structured and independent manner, but also thrive on collaborating and sharing knowledge in project teams.

Since assignments often take place in close collaboration with the client, you easily adapt to new environments and build trust in technical teams. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

• University degree or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Development

• 3–7 years of experience in mechanical design

• Good knowledge of CAD tools - CATIA V5 is a plus

• Experience in creating complete manufacturing documentation in 2D/3D
