About Us

Nordisk Hemservice is a family-owned company established in 2002. The company was founded by sisters Maria Irebro and Marie-Louise Bergqvist. Today, we have approximately 150 employees working in Danderyd, Östermalm, and Södermalm.

Nordisk Hemservice has agreements with the City of Stockholm. In our work, we follow established routines and guidelines, complemented by continuous quality control.

Qualifications

• Experience in service-oriented roles
• Good proficiency in Swedish (both spoken and written)
• Experience in nursing/care
• Nursing and care education of at least 800 credits
• Good physical fitness, as the role involves a lot of walking and lifting

Responsibilities

Working in home care means you work independently with significant responsibility. At the same time, you are part of our team and have daily contact with our customers and their relatives. Your tasks include planning and performing care work in customers' homes, such as:

• Personal care (assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, and dressing).
• Household services (cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning, and laundry).
• Accompaniment (accompanying the customer to activities outside the home).

After each visit, you will perform thorough documentation and time registration via a mobile application. You travel between customers on foot, by bicycle, or by car.

Visits to customers take place between 07:00–22:00, all year round. We prefer that you are flexible and can work both day and evening shifts, as well as weekends.

We prefer candidates who can work between 70–90% and do not have other employment.
