About the role

Adecco is currently looking for an operator for the processing plant at Södra Wood in Kisa. As an operator, you hold a central position in the production process, responsible for ensuring that production is carried out efficiently, safely, and with high quality.

The position is full-time with a start date as soon as possible and runs until June 30, 2026, with a high possibility of extension. You will be offered a stimulating work environment with good opportunities for professional development within the industry.

Your responsibilities

As an operator in the sawmill, your main tasks will include:

• Operational work in the processing/sawmill
• Monitoring and adjusting machinery
• Quality control of produced goods
• Ensuring production meets set targets
• Contributing to order, safety, and continuous improvement in production

The work is performed in shift teams of approximately 10 people, where collaboration and communication are crucial.

Working hours are in 2-shifts:

Day Shift (FM): Mon–Fri 06:00–14:30
Evening Shift (EM): Mon–Thu 14:25–23:55

Your profile

To thrive and succeed in this role, we look for you who have experience from industrial production and a technical interest.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in operational work within the industry, preferably in a similar role
• Has technical understanding and experience working with machinery
• Is meticulous and quality-conscious
• Can work both independently and in a team
• Is social and thrives in a team with a positive atmosphere
• Is driven, engaged, and forward-thinking

Merits:

• Counterbalance truck license (B)
• Operator certificate for wheel loaders

About the employment

You will be employed by Adecco and work as a consultant at Södra Wood in Kisa.
Selection is conducted on an ongoing basis.
