About the role

Sourcecom is a strategic partner in information security, offering services ranging from risk management and advisory to the technical design and implementation of security solutions. Here, deep technical expertise is combined with strong business understanding to create solutions tailored to the customer's business needs.

As an IT Security Specialist, you work as a consultant on client assignments where you are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions. You have a technically demanding role with significant autonomy and act as an advisor on security-related matters. You will become part of a close-knit team of approximately 12 consultants.

Responsibilities

In this role, you work to ensure and develop customers' IT security environments through both operational and strategic work. Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Designing, configuring, and maintaining security solutions
• Working with firewalls, proxies, and authentication solutions
• Managing and developing security architecture and policies
• Troubleshooting, handling incidents, and conducting technical analyses
• Participating in implementations and advising on technology choices and changes

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least 4 years of experience in IT security
• Has experience operating IT security solutions
• Has experience with firewalls
• Has worked with authentication, proxies, or similar security solutions
• Has experience troubleshooting and configuring in complex environments

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with SIEM or log management
• Knowledge of Linux or automation
