About the position
MK Manning is now looking for an experienced trailer mechanic for one of our expanding customers in the automotive industry in Gothenburg. You will become part of an engaged team working with the service, maintenance, and repair of various types of trailers and superstructures. The work takes place in a modern workshop with good opportunities for development.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, and repair of trailers and superstructures.
• Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
• Repair and replace wear parts, brakes, axles, lights, and couplings.
• Work with welding, simpler sheet metal work, and adjustments as needed.
• Ensure that all work meets current safety and quality requirements.

We are looking for you who

• Have documented experience as a trailer mechanic, truck mechanic, or similar.
• Have good knowledge of vehicle technology, braking systems, electricity, and hydraulics.
• Are self-motivated, meticulous, and enjoy solving technical challenges.
• Have a B driving license. C or CE license is a plus.
• Have experience with troubleshooting, welding, or working with cooling units (a plus).
