ValueOne is looking for a Category Specialist for electronic components for a global manufacturing company in Ludvika. The assignment starts in May 2026 and lasts for 12 months, with the ambition of conversion to permanent employment.

About the role
As a Category Specialist, you will be responsible for the procurement of electrical components for production. The role involves managing supplier contacts and contracts, as well as ensuring cost-efficiency and high quality in the supply chain.

• Responsible for the procurement of direct materials for production within electronics.
• Define and implement local procurement strategies.
• Develop and maintain the supplier base with a focus on quality, delivery, and cost-efficiency.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with colleagues.
• Establish and update contracts with major suppliers, including pricing and purchasing terms, in accordance with business requirements.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and drive improvement projects when necessary.

Experience and competence
We are looking for you who have experience in commercial procurement of electronic components within the manufacturing industry. You speak and write fluent Swedish and English and are comfortable working with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Power BI. We consider it an advantage if you have knowledge of the business system SAP and possess a post-secondary education or a higher vocational education (YH) in procurement.

As a person, you are a skilled communicator who easily builds trust both internally and externally. We believe you take full ownership of your tasks and work in a solution-oriented and proactive manner.
