Cold Kitchen Chef Wanted at Nordrest on Axis, Lund

Are you a passionate cold kitchen chef with an eye for detail and quality? Do you want to help develop a creative and innovative kitchen together with our knowledgeable team? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

We at Nordrest are now looking for a skilled and driven cold kitchen chef who wants to be an important part of our kitchen team. On Axis in Lund, we run two restaurants, a café, and a catering business, and we are now looking for someone who wants to take responsibility for our cold kitchen and join us on our journey to create fantastic dining experiences.

Responsibilities:

Menu Planning – create exciting and seasonal dishes together with the head chef.

Self-control and Quality Assurance – ensure that all work follows our routines for hygiene and safety.

Inventories and Stock Management – keep track of our raw materials and contribute to keeping the kitchen organized.

Service and Customer Contact – you will work closely with our guests in the restaurant and contribute to a high level of service.

Catering and Conferences – develop our offering for conference guests and catering orders.

Who is our new dream colleague?

You are a cheerful person with experience from the chef and service professions, accustomed to building good relationships and contacts with guests. As a person, you are responsible, ambitious, and respectful towards your surroundings.

We want you to have:

• 3-year upper secondary chef education or equivalent
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Category B driver’s license

• Previous work experience as a chef
• Experience with menu planning and ordering supplies
• A solid interest and preferably knowledge and experience in sustainability work, as the restaurant is both environmentally and quality certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
