WeStaff Sweden is currently recruiting a Junior Automation Technician for a modern industrial company with a global presence.

The company is an international manufacturer of advanced machine solutions with customers worldwide. We are now looking for someone who wants to develop in a practical and technical role close to production, with excellent opportunities to grow within automation.

About the role:

As an Automation Technician, you will work closely with production and machinery in a varied role where you get to combine technology, troubleshooting, and practical work. After a thorough introduction, you will gradually become involved in projects, testing, and commissioning.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working practically with machines, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Participating in testing and commissioning of automation solutions
• Assisting with PLC programming and simple adjustments
• Working with HMI and control systems in a production environment
• Following routines and ensuring quality in your work
• Contributing to improvement work and process development

You will become part of an experienced team where you have the opportunity to learn the entire chain – from production to final delivery to the customer.

Responsibilities in the role

• Follow work routines and safety regulations
• Ensure operational reliability in production
• Report deviations and contribute to solutions
• Participate in the installation and startup of machines

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest who enjoys practical work.

We would prefer that you have:

• Experience from industry, technology, or maintenance
• Interest in automation and control systems
• Basic knowledge of PLC (merit)
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Class B driver's license and access to a car

As a person

You are curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy working close to technology. You like to "screw and tinker", are meticulous, and want to develop long-term in your role.

• Start: Immediate, subject to notice period
• Scope: Full-time, long-term assignment with possibility of transition
• Working hours: Daytime
• Location: Smaller town, commuting by car required
• Travel: Occurs as part of the job
