At Quokka, we are now looking for a meticulous and technically driven tester for Saab in Gothenburg. In this role, you will work with tuning, testing, and troubleshooting of microwave components and subsystems – in a high-tech environment where quality, precision, and accuracy are paramount.

About the role As a consultant, you will work at Saab in Gothenburg and become part of the Microwave Production team, a group working on assembly, testing, and verification of microwave components and units for several of Saab's radar systems.

The work covers both new production and service cases, offering a varied daily routine where you can combine practical work with technical analysis and problem-solving.

You will play a central role in ensuring that products meet high quality requirements before delivery. The role involves both independent work and close collaboration with colleagues in production and engineering.

Your main areas of responsibility

• Perform electrical and RF testing of units and subsystems
• Test products at both board and unit levels
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair products
• Perform simple assembly and soldering work
• Read and interpret drawings and technical documentation (Swedish and English)
• Document results and handle deviations according to established processes
• Contribute to improvement work within quality, delivery, and efficiency
• Participate in training and introduction of new colleagues
• Have some customer contact and communicate status on ongoing work

Experience we would like you to have

• Experience in microwave testing
• Good understanding of instruments and experience working in test environments
• Experience with test fixtures, manual measurements, and connections
• Familiarity with instruments such as network analyzers and similar
• Technical education or equivalent experience
• A few years of relevant work experience
• Good ability to read and understand drawings and technical documentation
