About the Role

In the role of System Administrator, you will work on assignment for the client, often in a project format together with the client's project managers and technical team. Workdays consist of meetings, requirement analysis, configuration, and system administration. Sometimes on-site at the client's location, sometimes from the office.

This is a consulting assignment, meaning you will be employed by Academic Work, with good opportunities for permanent recruitment by our client.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in meetings and work on projects
  • Understand the client's needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Work both independently and in a team

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a university degree in IT/Technology (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science) or relevant vocational education
  • Has previous knowledge in networking, segmentation, and IT security
  • Has an interest in system development, programming, and databases
  • Can communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
  • Has a B driver's license and access to a car

It is an advantage if you have previous experience from the process industry. It is also an advantage if you live in or have connections to Umeå.
