Our client is growing and is now looking to strengthen their team with a skilled support technician! As a 1st line support technician for our client in Malmö, you will work closely with the 2nd line team and other functions within the organization. The customer is always the focus, and you will provide them with the best possible service. Start date is negotiable. Your Main ResponsibilitiesAs a 1st line support technician, you will handle customer cases via both phone calls and email. The pace generally varies as your daily routine is driven by unique customer events, and everything you do must maintain high quality and service levels. It is important that you are reliable, proactive, and value good customer relationships. Since this is a first-line support role serving a large number of customers with various contracts and SLA levels, it is crucial that you are skilled at troubleshooting with determination when required. It is also important to follow established escalation procedures when they exist. The administrative part is significant, and documenting cases is a natural part of the daily work. A genuine interest in IT will facilitate your work every day. The work will be intense and challenging, but you will be surrounded by wonderful colleagues who are quick to laugh!
Working hours are primarily daytime between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday. You will also work evening shifts for one week (including the weekend) approximately every other month, which rotates within the team based on the number of staff.
Who Are You?We prefer that you have a post-secondary education in IT, preferably from a University of Applied Sciences. You can also apply if you have acquired equivalent IT skills on your own, or if your drive to learn new things and your work ethic are high, as these are two extremely important factors for us. Perhaps you studied IT at high school and have since worked with similar tasks; this is also highly valued. However, a requirement is that you speak and write both English and Swedish fluently. It is an asset if you have experience with or knowledge of Active Directory, Windows operating systems, Linux, basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), ticketing systems, troubleshooting, mobile devices, printer management, and Office 365.

You and your team are a unit, and together you must ensure you help your wonderful customers with pace and high quality. You are the person who always stands up for your team and your customers. To succeed in the role of 1st line support technician, you must be structured, focused, and have a good overview of the situation.
As our client works with security-classified customers, a comprehensive security clearance will be conducted upon employment.
