Job Responsibilities

As an environmental worker, you will primarily drive rear-loading vehicles and be responsible for emptying various types of bins and containers for our customers in and around Örebro. The work follows planned routes but may also involve driving other types of vehicles depending on needs and daily conditions. No two days are the same – therefore, you need to have local knowledge, be flexible, and be able to solve problems as they arise.

If needed, the work may also involve driving a car with a trailer, and it is an advantage if you have a wheel loader license, as you may occasionally need to assist at the facility.

You will interact with customers daily, handle unexpected situations, and ensure that every assignment is carried out with high quality, service, and safety. The work is physically demanding at times, so you should enjoy being active and working outdoors.

• Driving and handling trucks with C-license qualification.

• Loading/unloading materials and securing cargo.

• Documentation and control of driving logs and tachographs.

• Collaborating with the team to ensure the route is completed before the end of the workday (overtime may occur).

• Maintaining good order and reporting deviations to management.

We are looking for you who

• Have a valid C driving license and YKB for C.

• Have experience of professional driving and good driving habits.

• Hold a tachograph card and are experienced in handling tachograph documentation.

• Speak and write Swedish fluently.

• Have good local knowledge of the current region.

• Are flexible regarding working hours as overtime may occur (the route must be completed before leaving).

• Take personal responsibility, are driven, positive, and meticulous in your work.

Working hours

Full-time, scheduled days according to customer needs. Flexibility is required as the end of the workday is determined by the completion of the route (overtime may occur).
