As a Workshop Technician, you will work with straightening, repair, wheel measurement, and wheel alignment of heavy vehicles. This role is perfect for someone with a genuine interest in vehicles and technology. At Josam, you will become part of an experienced team in a company with a warm, family-like culture where collaboration and well-being are the focus. We welcome your application!
About the Role
JOSAM is a world-leading brand that is now part of the American Snap-on Group. At our location in Örebro, there are approximately 25 colleagues in various roles within product development, sales, orders, training, workshop, service, and support. You will join a family-friendly workplace with high technical expertise and low staff turnover. The workshop in Örebro specializes in straightening, repairs, and wheel alignment of heavy vehicles and is fully equipped to handle a wide variety of vehicles, machinery, and structures.
In this role, you will participate in a comprehensive introduction program where you will have the opportunity to learn from your experienced colleagues. Initially, you will work alongside an experienced colleague to gain a good understanding of the products and operations. Over time, you will take on increasing responsibility and work independently. Since both working methods and equipment are specifically adapted to Josam's operations, much of your professional development will take place directly on-site.
Responsibilities
As a Workshop Technician, you will work with straightening, repair, wheel measurement, and wheel alignment of heavy vehicles such as trucks, buses, trailers, and construction machinery. Josam always strives to repair components rather than replace them, provided it is cost-effective and high quality is achieved. This is primarily done using heat, and the methods for straightening and repair are continuously developed to meet new needs and technological advancements. In this role, you will also work to adjust and optimize wheel angles that affect driving performance, tire life, and fuel economy.
