We are currently seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager for an exciting consulting assignment with one of our clients. The assignment focuses on driving a feasibility study project related to the implementation of the NIS2 Directive – an area of high strategic importance and significant business value.
Your Role
As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will lead a feasibility study project focused on analyzing and ensuring compliance with the NIS2 Directive. You will work closely with various stakeholders and play a central role in creating structure, clarity, and momentum within the project.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Leading and driving the NIS2 feasibility study
Identifying deviations in current NIS2 compliance
Conducting gap analyses and assessing the current compliance level
Developing a clear action plan (Plan of Approach) for identified gaps
Ensuring the project delivers according to set goals and timelines
Collaborating with various stakeholders, both technical and non-technical (e.g., operations, legal, and other functions)
Communicating project status and results in a clear and structured manner
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
Several years of experience as an IT Project Manager
Experience working with the NIS2 Directive or similar regulatory requirements
Strong ability to work with requirements management and analysis
Excellent communication skills and experience managing multiple stakeholders
Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
A structured and self-driven working style
Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive projects forward independently
Preferred Experience
It is an advantage if you also have:
Experience with the ISO 27000 series
A background in IT security or risk management
Technical understanding within IT and system landscapes
Experience working in complex organizations
Location
Stockholm area. Possibility for remote work 1–2 days per week.
Schedule and Scope
Start: April 2026
End: July 2026
Scope: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Assignment Description
The assignment is a key part of the client's work to meet new regulatory requirements within information security. The focus is on mapping the current situation, identifying areas for improvement, and creating a clear plan forward to achieve full compliance with NIS2.
