In the role of a nursing assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will work to provide good care, service, and nursing to our residents. Rådmansgatan is a special care home with a focus on the elderly and the sick and has 34 places. Rådmansgatan is located on Frösön; it takes 15 minutes to walk from Östersund city center. There are good bus connections and plenty of parking spaces.

In the position of nursing assistant, you work with care and nursing based on the customer's wishes, in accordance with care decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You work, for example, with helping with personal hygiene, preparation and serving of meals, answering alarms, and being there for social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work so that all our residents can live life, the whole life. It can range from conversing, playing games, going on excursions, taking a bike ride, or coming up with some fun activity together. You also work with delegated tasks from licensed personnel in the form of medication administration and exercise.

Job Description

We are currently looking for one colleague on part-time basis for a permanent position with a probation period with an employment rate of 70% with a start date of 2026-05-13.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A certificate from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) as a nursing assistant

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

We also consider it meritorious if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. With us, we work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you must show an unopened extract from the police criminal register. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, for example, a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.
