About the Role

As an employee with us, you represent Hornbach and serve as a role model regarding engagement, drive, and customer service. In the role of Cashier Team Leader, your main responsibilities include leading your cashier supervisors, daily management and development of the department, and acting as a link between the management team and the cashier team.

Examples of Key Responsibilities

  • Staff planning, training, and development
  • Working towards set targets
  • Daily management and development of the department
  • Supervising cashier supervisors
  • Acting as a liaison between management and the cashier team
  • Cash reconciliation, closing daily cash registers, and compiling cash reports
  • Ensuring customer service levels through active engagement in the checkout line
  • Registering goods and processing customer payments
  • Handling returns

Your Profile

  • High school education or equivalent, with experience in retail.
  • Meritorious if you have several years of experience leading a checkout line.
  • Previous experience in a leadership position within retail.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Ability to handle stress, as the job sometimes involves a fast pace.
  • Strong sense of service, customer orientation, and passion for sales.
  • As a person, you are meticulous and solution-oriented.

Working Hours/Duration: Permanent position. Full-time (38 hours), 25 hours/week. Working hours include mornings, evenings, and every other weekend.

Salary: Salary according to collective agreement.
