About the Role

As an employee with us, you represent Hornbach and serve as a role model for engagement, drive, and customer service. We are currently seeking a retail sales associate for our Plumbing (VVS) department.

Your main responsibilities will primarily consist of sales and customer advisory. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you ensure that the customer can successfully complete their project.

Examples of Key Responsibilities

• Active sales of the product range within the Plumbing department
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area
• Responsible for incoming goods and display, as well as set-up and reorganization of the department
• Analyze the department's product presentation
• Assist in other departments when needed

Your Profile

• High school education or equivalent, plus experience in retail
• Relevant professional experience or education in Plumbing (VVS)
• Passionate about offering our customers the best possible service
• Realize customer projects through professional advice on our wide product range
• As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented
• Good physical fitness as some departments require heavy lifting
• Meritorious if you hold a forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4)

Working Hours/Duration: Seasonal employment, fixed-term. Full-time 38.25 hours. Scheduled work hours include days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Salary: Salary according to collective agreement.

Start Date: May 1 – August 31, 2026
