Påarp-Mörarp Health Center is the small health center with the big heart! We work in newly renovated and well-equipped premises. We are a well-functioning clinic with high competence and well-developed routines where we work in teams around the patients. We continuously work to develop our operations to be able to offer our patients good and close care.

We have approximately 25 employees, and our work group consists of specialists in general practice, ST physicians, AT physicians, district nurses, registered nurses, medical secretaries, assistant nurses, a counselor, and physiotherapists. We have a dietitian on-site one day a week and an occupational therapist in the building once a week. Our premises also include a child health center (BVC) and specialist clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, CBT, hypertension, and dementia. We are also developing a ReKo-team with physicians and counselors. Additionally, we are responsible for the Bokliden nursing home located in Mörarp.

With high continuity and a service mindset, as well as a good work climate and social activities, we are a team that enjoys working and developing together. We have fun at work. With our geographical location, we have a combination of proximity to the hospital and elements of rural medicine. We take our educational responsibility very seriously, and all specialists are interested in mentoring.

Påarp-Mörarp Health Center is located just southeast of Helsingborg – just a few minutes' walk from the train station and close to the on-ramps for E6 and E4.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you are offered a varied and developing job where you, as a physician, work in a team with other specialists and physicians. In your role, you will have both acute and scheduled appointments where you have access to specialists for any questions.

Your training will be tailored in consultation with your mentor and study director to accommodate your interests, but also to ensure the training is as optimal, varied, challenging, and interesting as possible. This is to ensure you gain good knowledge and experience that you will carry with you in your future work as a specialist physician in primary care.

As an ST physician, you will follow your ST plan, and we offer a supportive educational climate on your path to specialist physician competence.

In addition to mandatory ST courses and participation in ST days, you are offered good development opportunities with continuous further education, both internally and externally, based on your interests and the needs of the operation. You will also have allocated time for studies and mentoring every week.

As a new employee with us, you will receive an introduction adapted to your experience so that you can enter the operation in a good way.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physician with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare and have completed your AT or BT. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the European Language Portfolio are a requirement. It is an asset if you have experience working in primary care and experience with Hälsovalet. Furthermore, it is desirable that you have knowledge of our systems PMO, Melior, and Mina Planer.

Permanent employment as an ST physician may be preceded by a fixed-term employment as a resident physician for a period of three to six months in accordance with regional guidelines for the appointment of ST physician positions in Primary Care.
