Your Role

For over a year, Saab in Landskrona has been producing components for submarine production in Karlskrona. We are currently in a significant expansion phase and are now seeking machine operators for our growing team. You will have the opportunity to help build complex structures and production aids for Saab's submarine production at an expanding shipyard.

As a machine operator, you will work in production processing components and are responsible for ensuring that machines run efficiently and safely while guaranteeing that products meet high quality standards. The work also involves reading and working according to technical drawings and instructions, as well as performing simple programming or adjustments to machine settings when necessary. You will measure and control manufactured parts to ensure they meet the high quality requirements set in production.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and solution-oriented. You thrive in a production environment, work in a structured manner, and have a strong quality mindset. Collaboration with colleagues and a positive attitude towards development are also important in this role.

To be successful as a machine operator with us, you should have:

• Experience working as a machine operator or CNC operator in the workshop industry with elements of welding and sheet metal work.
• Knowledge in milling, turning, or other metal processing.
• Ability to read drawings and use measuring instruments.

We consider it an asset if you hold a forklift license and/or a traversing license.

The position requires that you undergo and pass security clearance according to current safety regulations. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
