Job Responsibilities
As a butcher, you will work on the production line with butchering and packaging of products.

• Physical work where you stand all day.
• Butcher our products.
• Packaging of products.
• Trimming and post-processing of products.
• Packaging work occurs according to a rotation schedule.

About the Job
Our client, Bjärefågel, is located at the very tip of the Bjäre Peninsula and is engaged in sustainable chicken farming. Our client slaughters, butchers, processes, and packs their premium chicken before delivering it to customers such as wholesalers, stores, and restaurants. The work is performed both individually and in groups, and a high work pace is common.
Today, our work team consists of both men and women of various ages and nationalities. To become part of the team, you need to be able to make yourself understood in Swedish and be able to get to work without public transport, as it does not serve our workplace.

Scope
Employment during the season 100% May – Sep 2025.
Salary: Hourly wage according to collective agreement.
Working hours: Day shift, 06:00–15:00. You must have a car to be on site when the workday begins. Public transport is not an option.

Experience and Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who wants to work in a production environment. We prefer candidates with an interest in food, and it is an advantage if you have an understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements. It is also an advantage to have knife skills and experience with machine packaging in the food industry.

Most importantly, you should have a strong interest and drive to learn new things. As a person, you are a team player, humble, and responsible. You are meticulous and quality-conscious in your work, have a positive attitude, and contribute to a pleasant atmosphere at the workplace together with your colleagues.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• No prior experience required; our client will train you on-site (introduction).
