Your Role

At Saab in Landskrona, we have been producing parts for the submarine production in Karlskrona for over a year. We are currently in a significant expansion phase and are now seeking a Mechanized Welder to join our growing team. You will have the opportunity to help build complex structures and production aids for Saab's submarine production at an expanding shipyard.

As a Mechanized Welder with us, you will work on welding complex steel structures within the marine industry, primarily using ESAB welding cranes. You will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and quality-assuring welding processes, as well as ensuring that work is carried out according to drawings and technical specifications. The role requires high precision and a strong focus on quality and safety.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

• Experience with mechanized welding in ESAB welding cranes
• Good experience in reading technical drawings
• Knowledge of steel and stainless steel materials
• Experience working with quality requirements and standards
• Overhead crane license (Traverskort)
• Forklift license (Truckkort)

The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance according to current safety regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
