About the position

We are currently looking for a Local Supply Strategist who wants to drive and develop the strategic work regarding the municipality's premises and property supply. You will take on a key role in creating long-term stability, structure, and good conditions for our operations – thereby contributing to strengthening the quality of life for both residents and employees.

As a Local Supply Strategist, you are responsible for the municipality's overall work with strategic local supply. You will work closely with the administration's leadership, various operations, and the property management department, becoming a central actor in analyzing needs, planning for the long term, and translating future premises needs into sustainable and cost-effective solutions.

You will have both strategic and coordinating tasks and will play an important role in the municipality's ongoing property development. The position is new and implies a high level of trust, where you contribute to creating order, prioritization, and a holistic approach to the municipality's local supply work. In the long run, you will also support the property management department in certain aspects of the management work.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon.

The role includes, among other things:

• Develop and drive the strategic agenda for the municipality's local supply.
• Produce analyses, forecasts, and decision-making materials related to premises needs, capacity, and costs.
• Lead and coordinate work in the early stages of premises projects and contribute to coordination between administrations.
• Monitor the external environment and ensure that the municipality's local supply plan is current, sustainable in the long term, and adapted to demographics and operational development.
• Document, ensure quality, and follow up on the municipality's long-term premises needs.
• Collaborate with the property management department and support parts of the strategic management work.
• Act as a link between strategic needs and practical management.

Responsibility for ongoing property investigation – a central part of the assignment

Tidaholm Municipality is currently conducting an extensive property investigation. You will have a clear responsibility to:

• take over and drive the ongoing work
• translate results and recommendations into action plans
• anchor conclusions prior to political decisions
• integrate the investigation's results into the long-term local supply strategy

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• relevant academic education in property economics, urban planning, planning, or similar
• good knowledge in strategic planning, property economics, and calculation
• understanding of laws and regulations related to local supply and urban planning
• experience in project management

You are structured, analytical, and accustomed to working with complex information. You thrive in collaboration, are unpretentious, and confident in communicating decision-making materials to both civil servants and politicians. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
