A Team Leader at Clas Ohlson has the primary task of leading, coaching, and developing colleagues to create a positive customer experience. As a good role model, you and the store's remaining management team participate in work on the sales floor to deliver world-class customer service. Your daily work also includes tasks as a salesperson where you actively help and meet our customers, work the cash register, and restock merchandise.

In the role of Team Leader Merchandiser, you lead the work with product and store communication to create positive shopping experiences for our customers. You are responsible for coaching, inspiring, and educating your colleagues regarding the handling of the store concept in order to maximize inspiration and sales. If necessary, you or another member of the management team may need to act as the acting store manager.

To succeed, you will work on tasks such as:

• Training, coaching, and developing employees in knowledge about merchandising and the Clas Ohlson store concept

• Leading and ensuring that the presentation of the assortment aligns with the current store concept and season

• Ensuring scheduling and construction for all commercial activities

• Closely collaborating with department managers to create a good structure in daily operations

• Ensuring employee introduction, training, and ongoing competence development together with the store manager

• Monitoring and analyzing defined key figures and deciding on actions for these

Who are we looking for?

• Completed upper secondary education; education in Business and Administration and/or Store Management is an asset

• At least one year of work experience in merchandising within retail; experience with leadership within retail is an asset

• Basic skills in MS Office

• Good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• You must be 18 years old to work with us

To thrive in the role of Team Leader Merchandiser, you are a secure leader driven and inspired by developing both the business and employees. Furthermore, you have the ability to find creative solutions and implement them in the store based on its conditions. You also have an eye for detail, a structured way of working, and the ability to plan for the short and long term.

The position is a permanent employment at 100% with a start date according to agreement. Clas Ohlson always applies a 6-month probation period for permanent employment.
