About the role🙌🏼

Are you interested in sports and outdoor life and have experience working in a retail environment, preferably in large-scale operations with similar products? Are you passionate about delivering top-class customer service and feel confident in sales and service? Then we might be looking for you for the position of Store Associate at our store in Charlottenberg on Morastgatan 1!

We are looking for an engaged and positive employee with experience in store work, preferably with handling large product flows and seasonal products. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are used to working towards key figures, while always keeping the customer in focus. As a Store Associate at Sportshopen, you will become part of a happy and great team working together to reach new goals.

Responsibilities💻

As a Store Associate with us, you always meet our customers with a happy smile and give them the best possible service experience. Tasks include cashier work, signage, price tagging, unpacking and restocking goods, as well as keeping the store tidy. You also have an eye for product display and ensure that the right product is always in the right place.

Qualifications🏆

We are looking for you who have experience working in retail, preferably with a focus on sports or outdoor products. You are comfortable handling large product flows and seasonal changes and have experience working with product placement and re-hanging. Working towards sales targets and working with upselling is something you feel confident about. It is also important that you are a team player with good collaboration skills and that you are driven to give our customers the best possible service.

Terms🤝🏼

The position is a permanent employment at 40% employment level, starting with a six-month probationary period. Working with us implies varying working hours and work on weekends occurs. Start date for the position is May 1st, 2026 or by agreement.

We apply salary according to the collective agreement with the Swedish Retail and Wholesale Workers' Union (Handelsanställdas förbund).

We may perform credit checks as well as extract from the criminal register on the applicant.

Who are we?

Swedemount Sportswear & Fashion AB was founded in 1991 and today has 23 stores under the name Sportshopen and one store under the name Bazar. In Sörred outside Gothenburg, we have our 20,000 sqm automated warehouse and office. In Grebbestad on the west coast, our headquarters and our largest store are located, which is the largest sports store in the Nordic region at 14,000 sqm.

Our stores are located all over Sweden, from north to south, with a growing E-commerce that also extends to the European market. Sportshopen is today one of the larger independent actors in Sweden in terms of sales within sports and leisure. Our assortment consists mainly of clothing and shoes from leading brand suppliers, but we also develop and manufacture our own brands – clothing that can be used for activities in harsh climates, year-round.
