Account Manager at Michelin

Are you a business-driven person who thrives on responsibility and wants to work with a strong premium brand? We are now looking for an Account Manager who wants to continue developing relationships with our customers and contribute to further growth in our district.

What does the role entail?

In the role of Account Manager, you will work with B2B sales, where you will both develop existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities. Your customers primarily consist of larger transport companies and contractors. Therefore, the role often involves meeting decision-makers such as CEOs/owners and members of management teams.

An important part of the job is to analyze the market and proactively work on new customer acquisition. The role is also partially hands-on, where you conduct workplace surveys at customer sites and follow up on tire pressure and wear. You will meet customers four days a week, with one day dedicated to administrative work.

Based on Michelin's sales concept, you will present improvement proposals and solutions that help the customer achieve the best possible total economy and efficiency. You will also work with product presentations and training within our heavy segment, such as truck, construction, industrial, and tractor tires. If necessary, you will also handle complaint cases and coordinate with relevant parties.

Your district includes Värmland, Närke, and Västergötland, where you will work closely with our Account Manager who works with resellers. It is an advantage if you reside in Skövde or Karlstad and surrounding areas.

Who are you?

To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you are someone who takes overall responsibility for your customers and has a natural ability to see business opportunities. You are skilled at creating and developing long-term relationships and feel comfortable planning and structuring your own work.

We also believe that you:

  • Are communicative and express yourself well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing (English is Michelin's corporate language)
  • Have experience in B2B sales or a strong interest in business and customer relationships
  • Have basic knowledge of Excel and are comfortable with web-based systems (Michelin uses, among other things, Microsoft 365 and Salesforce)

If you have an academic background in areas such as economics, marketing, engineering, or sales, this is a merit, but we place great emphasis on personal qualities, drive, and commitment.
