With 33 health centers and rural clinics, we are where you are. The Primary Care Area East in Umeå is a base unit consisting of Ålidhem and Holmsund/Obbola health centers. Ålidhem Health Center is located on Tvistevägen, close to the center of Ålidhem in Umeå. The health center has approximately 22,700 registered patients and is made possible by about 90 employees.
We are now seeking an ST-doctor (Specialist Training) to join our medical team at Ålidhem Health Center. We are a large medical group possessing high and varied competence in the field of general practice. We have the strength and advantages of being a large health center while maintaining a close and non-hierarchical relationship among those working at the center. Collaboration and active dialogue regarding areas for improvement are highly valued. We offer a varied and developing workplace with a clear patient focus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As an ST-doctor with us, you contribute knowledge and engagement that makes people feel secure.
The specialty of general practice is characterized by the encounter with the patient throughout their entire life. As an ST-doctor, you will meet people of all ages with all kinds of health-related problems, as well as independently assess and treat these, including experiences and symptoms not caused by definable diseases. In general practice specialist work, an individual's various health problems are followed over time, and in assessing these problems, the person's entire life situation must be taken into account. You are an active participant in the medical group and collaborate with other professional groups.
Your ST-employment includes on-call duty.
In addition to the specialty-specific program, as an ST-doctor, you will also participate in the LEKA training program. A program focusing on leadership, economics, communication, administration, ethics, and time for personal reflection for ST-doctors within Region Västerbotten.
QUALIFICATIONS
You must have a Swedish medical license with the authority to practice within the Swedish healthcare system at the latest upon commencement. You have an interest in specializing in general practice.
We require good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1.
You should be interested in participating in operational development and be prepared to take personal responsibility in various matters. Personal qualities that are highly valued include good communication skills, good teamwork skills, and flexibility in work.
Consideration is given to personal suitability and teamwork ability.
For placement within Primary Care, a Class B driver's license is required.
