Within the Health and Medical Services Administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are gathered in a common administration. The Skellefteå local health care area includes the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, the Center for Surgical Activities, as well as primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, we work towards good and accessible care.
Primary Care North Skellefteå consists of the health centers Ursviken, Morö Backe, Kåge, and Byske. Here, we work together to develop primary care with a vital spirit.

Our health center is located in new, fresh premises approximately 1.5 miles outside the Skellefteå urban area. We are close to hiking trails along the Skellefte River and the sea. For those who want to live close to work, there are fine housing opportunities in the immediate area. There are good bus connections to the city center, and the bus stop is just a stone's throw from our premises.
Ursviken Health Centre is a well-functioning unit characterized by an open work climate and job satisfaction where employees enjoy their work and their colleagues. The unit has just over 25 employees who work closely together regardless of profession. We welcome new ideas, maintain a positive spirit, and always support each other. Responsibilities
As a General Practitioner with us, you contribute knowledge and engagement that makes people feel secure. The specialty of general medicine is characterized by the encounter with the patient throughout their life. Competence includes meeting people of all ages with all kinds of health-related problems and independently assessing and treating them, including experiences and complaints not caused by definable diseases. In general medical specialist work, one must also follow an individual's various health problems over time and, in the assessment of health problems, take the person's entire life situation into account.
You will be active in a medical group and collaborate with other professional groups. The role may also include mentoring students, residents (ST), and junior doctors (AT/BT). You will be responsible for your own area but have the opportunity for specialization/profiling and development work within certain frameworks. On-call duty is included.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed physician and specialist in general medicine. We prefer candidates with experience working in primary care. Interest in mentoring students and trainee doctors is also important.
You are a present and positive person who, with expert knowledge and care, sees the patient and contributes to a holistic view that makes the care process better and safer. You enjoy collaborating and being there for other people. Personal qualities highly valued include pedagogical thinking, ability to work in a team, willingness to develop, and flexibility. You are confident in your professional role, enjoy challenges, and see opportunities rather than obstacles. There are great opportunities to develop specialist interests if desired.
Requirement: Swedish language level C.
