We are currently seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team at Edsholm Special Care Facility. The workplace consists of four units, two of which are dementia care units. There are a total of 44 resident places and approximately 40 dedicated nursing assistants and care assistants, one administrative assistant, and two registered nurses. Together, we create a secure, meaningful, and content-rich daily life for our elderly residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Nursing Assistant with us, you will work with both nursing care and service tasks, always focusing on the individual's needs and participation. You contribute to strengthening health, creating security, and giving the elderly the opportunity for a dignified and meaningful daily life.

Your duties include personal care and support in daily life, nursing tasks based on delegation, cooking, and other practical tasks within the living environment, as well as documentation according to current legislation (Social Services Act and Health and Medical Services Act). You will also be involved in encouraging and carrying out activities that contribute to community, well-being, and quality of life.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a qualified Nursing Assistant, either through the Health and Social Care program or through other education or experience deemed equivalent. Previous experience in elderly care or dementia care is an asset. To succeed in this role, you need good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and be confident in documenting on a computer.

As a person, you have a high level of service awareness and a respectful approach. You are attentive and responsive to the needs of the elderly and are used to taking responsibility for your work. You work independently but also enjoy collaborating in a team. We expect you to have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations and to spread job satisfaction while supporting your colleagues. Personal suitability is of great importance.
