Welcome to us

The patrol service in Jönköping Municipality is divided into four areas and consists of approximately 90 employees. We operate from premises at Kasernen in central Jönköping and Gränna nursing home.

The patrol responds to all security alarms within the municipality and conducts assessed visits at night in citizens' homes, both within home care and personal assistance. Although the majority of our employees work at night, the patrol also carries out assignments during the day and evening.

Your new job

The coordinator assignment is based on an employment as a nursing assistant (undersköterska).

As a nursing assistant with a coordinator assignment with us, you will initially have a special focus on roster planning, absence management, and staffing. You will also be responsible for planning assessed interventions. Since the role is new, we view it as flexible, meaning that tasks may change and develop over time based on the needs of the operation and your own interests and competencies.

The closest collaboration takes place with the other coordinators, and together you play a central role in the daily overview of the operations. You will also collaborate closely with four unit managers and the nursing staff within the patrol service. In your work, you will also have close contact with social workers, home care services, the lock and alarm organization, and the health and medical care function.

Our ambition is for the coordinator assignment to remain long-term, but the scope of the assignment may change over time depending on the needs of the operation. This may mean that part of your position involves operational healthcare and social care work. As a nursing assistant, you will work with standard healthcare and social care interventions within the patrol service based on a health-promoting and person-centered approach.

Your competence

We are looking for someone who is structured and likes to have order around them. You are willing to take initiative when something needs fixing and do not wait for someone else to tell you. Just as we value teamwork, you are keen to find good solutions together with others. Furthermore, you take great personal responsibility for what you do and ensure that things are done in a good way. Additionally, you are flexible and can adapt when plans change or new situations arise. We place great importance on personal suitability!

Formal qualifications

  • Qualified nursing assistant (Undersköterska)
  • Previous professional experience in healthcare and social care work
  • Experience in roster planning, especially in the operational system Time Care Multi Access
  • Very good computer skills
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Class B driver's license for a manual transmission car

Good to know

The recruitment concerns a permanent full-time position with a start date to be agreed upon. A probationary period may apply.

Working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday, and you will operate from our premises at Kasernen in the Asecs area.

The coordinator assignment is a role based on the position of nursing assistant. For the assignment, a salary supplement is added on top of the base salary and depends on the scope of the assignment. The assignment is not permanent and may cease if needed or at the manager's discretion. The position starts with a 100% coordination assignment, but this may change over time and involve more nursing work.
