Job Responsibilities
As a system technician with us, you will work in our Server and Storage Team. The team belongs to the Data Center function, which is part of Operations and Infrastructure. The function is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of Lantmäteriet's infrastructure platform. Our goal is to work agilely according to modern working methods and DevOps, which implies working with personal responsibility. The team works with infrastructure, server virtualization, operating systems, storage, and backup using products from, among others, VMware, Cisco, DELL, Microsoft, Red Hat, and Commvault.
Your main tasks will be within the Server and Storage Team, where you will act as a Team Leader while also working operationally within the various areas. The position is of both an operational and administrative nature.
The position includes on-call duty, meaning you will regularly have work weeks where you monitor and, if necessary, respond to alarms from the systems the team is responsible for, outside of regular working hours.
You will play an important role in the development of one of the region's largest and most advanced IT environments. Your daily work will primarily involve servers, storage, and backup. A high focus on security permeates all areas we work in.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a broad and genuine interest in technology and work experience as a system technician. You have several years of experience working in a large-scale operational environment where you have worked with various technologies and lifecycle management of server infrastructure.
It is an advantage if you have experience working as a team leader in a larger group with mixed technical competence. It is also an advantage if you have experience of similar tasks within a government authority.

You are motivated by working with continuous improvements and have your own drive where you take great responsibility for your technical development and your tasks. You enjoy planning and structuring your own and others' daily work.
Security Clearance: The position is security classified, which means you must be a Swedish citizen, and a security check including registry control and a security interview will be conducted before employment.
