Area of Operations: Digitalization
The area of operations Digitalization belongs to the IT and Development Department and consists of about 30 employees divided into three units: method support, business development, and digital services as well as web and production. We work together to harness the opportunities of digitalization and develop the municipality's operations — from digital services and automation to change management, project management, service design, and process development.
You will belong to the method support unit, located in the Administrative House where we offer a modern workplace, good commuting opportunities, and the possibility of some remote work.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a project manager, you are responsible for leading projects through the entire lifecycle, from feasibility study and decision to implementation, commissioning, and follow-up of effects.
In your work, you will:
- lead projects according to established project methodology (XLPM)
- ensure that projects have clear goals, the right conditions, and create benefits
- establish and lead steering groups and project groups
- be responsible for planning, follow-up, and reporting
- drive anchoring and change management in affected operations
- coordinate internal competencies and external suppliers
The projects vary in scope, from smaller assignments to group-wide initiatives with multiple stakeholders and complex dependencies. You alternate between strategic work and operational implementation in close collaboration with the operations and act as a bridge between operations, technology, and suppliers. You lead working groups, manage stakeholders, and create engagement in change.
Assignments may include business development within schools, care, and community services, procurement and implementation of IT systems, as well as digitalization and change projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
- University education or other education that the employer deems relevant
- Experience in project management and knowledge of project methodologies such as XLPM
- Experience from the public sector and/or large and complex organizations
- Experience in leading change and creating anchoring in different parts of the organization
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience in assignments involving technology, organization, and business development
- Experience in procurement and supplier contacts
- Experience in implementation and rollout of IT systems
- Understanding of digitalization and how it can be used to create benefits
- Knowledge and/or experience of information security work
