Why this job is for you You thrive when technical problems need to be explored, turned, and twisted – when there is room to think differently. As a mechanical engineer with us, you will use both your creativity and your technical competence to develop solutions that make a real difference.
You are confident in your role and want to influence how solutions are shaped, but you never do it alone. Collaboration is crucial for us. We build cross-functional teams based on the needs of the assignment, rather than adapting assignments to existing groups. This means you will work with different people, products, and industries – helping to create new, exciting solutions along the way.
Your development is just as important as the delivery to the customer. We offer various development paths, but how your journey looks is decided together – based on your ambitions, strengths, and the business needs. Whether you want to broaden your skills, take on more responsibility in projects, or deepen your expertise in a specific technology, we are here to support you forward.
You will work within our Hardware & Design business area, where we combine broad engineering competence with deep specialist knowledge and a user-centered approach – to develop physical products and digital experiences all the way from concept to large-scale production.
Responsibilities You will work in an environment where people care – about the technology, the projects, and each other. We believe in moving forward together through dialogue, responsibility, and shared commitment.
In this role, you will, among other things:
Work with mechanical design and product development in various development projects
Analyze and break down technical problems to find sustainable and well-thought-out solutions together with your team
Take responsibility in projects and actively contribute with your competence while independently driving your own work
Work with structured design work including verification and design reviews
Qualifications You are curious, analytical, and enjoy tackling technical challenges. You enjoy reasoning your way to solutions together with others but are also comfortable taking your own responsibility and driving your work forward. Sharing your knowledge comes naturally to you.
We prefer that you have:
An engineering degree in machine design or product development
At least 4 years of experience as a mechanical engineer in design and product development
Good knowledge of CAD and PDM systems
Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English
Since some of our assignments are subject to defense secrecy, a security clearance may be required for the assignment.
