Primary care includes Region Blekinge's health centers, youth clinics, and wound centers. Blekinge residents who fall ill turn directly to the health centers and gain access to healthcare that does not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all the county's cities, in several smaller towns, and sometimes in homes. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care provider where teamwork and patients' needs are at the center.

Kallinge Health Center is part of Hälsoval (Health Choice). Here, we have over 45 employees in various professions working together to meet our approximately 8,000 registered patients. We also have a branch in Bräkne-Hoby with about 3,000 registered patients. We have specialist nurse clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, a senior clinic, and child health care. About the Job

Are you passionate about primary care? Then you are warmly welcome to join our wonderful team. One of our Child Health Care (BHV) nurses is retiring, and we are now seeking a successor for the position.

As a BHV nurse/district nurse at the health center, you will meet everyone from small children to our elderly citizens. The BHV work constitutes about 45% of a full-time position; the remaining time is spent working at the health center. Duties include reception work, medical assessments, telephone counseling, dressing changes, triage, and more. At Kallinge Health Center, we work in two smaller teams to promote a good working environment, good collaboration, and continuity for us and our registered patients.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed district nurse with BHV experience from working at a health center. You have a genuine interest in helping people and always work with the patient in focus.

You are secure in your professional role and are a positive colleague who contributes to our good work climate. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills, initiative, and appreciate a fast pace. Since we are keen to find a colleague who complements our team, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability in this recruitment.

Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in the defense reserve. Candidates who are being considered for employment must present an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record register before employment (form 442.9). Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
