About the Job

The specialized child and adolescent psychiatry in Blekinge County consists of outpatient clinics in Karlshamn and Karlskrona. A common emergency/care department is located in Karlskrona.

Your main employment as a PTP psychologist will be at the clinic in Karlskrona. However, there is an opportunity to observe within BUP's various activities (in addition to the study visits included in the PTP program). You will be supervised by one of the clinic's experienced psychologists with extensive experience in PTP supervision.

As a PTP psychologist, you are expected to participate in the usual reception work but with clear adjustments in responsibility and pace of work based on where you are in your PTP year.

About You

In addition to having a psychology degree, you have a strong commitment, can plan and structure your work with some support from your supervisor. Since you will work in a team with other professionals at the reception, collaboration skills are a prerequisite. A large part of the work also requires independence, but the demands are adjusted according to your PTP. We consider it a given that you have a good attitude and the ability to meet and involve both the child/adolescent and their parents in the treatment work. Previous experience working with children and adolescents is an advantage.
