We are looking for new colleagues for our somatic care units.

Åkerhus care and nursing home, beautifully located near the sea in Önnered, has space for 102 residents distributed across three buildings. Our buildings offer apartments focused on somatic care and nursing, for residents with cognitive impairment, and for elderly residents who use sign language.

We value your commitment and competence. You are the one who makes everyday life function and become meaningful. In your work, you start from the resident's health and make use of the individual's resources. You motivate and stimulate the resident based on their individual conditions in their own home, which is part of the care and nursing home.

Your tasks include everything from personal care, support around meals, encouragement and support in social activities, as well as collaboration with relatives. Some tasks are performed on behalf of licensed staff. You also act as a contact person, helping the resident to formulate their needs and wishes.

Your working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

About You

Requirements

We are looking for you who are an educated nurse assistant, can show the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of a protected professional title, or can show that you were employed as a nurse assistant when the new regulations were introduced.

It is a requirement that you have previous experience from care and nursing work.

The job requires computer skills for documentation in IT systems and good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to be able to communicate effectively with others.

Merits

It is a merit if you have some form of further education relevant to work in care and nursing.
