Do you want to develop your career in a future-oriented industry and enable the residents of Åkerhus care and nursing home to live a dignified and meaningful life? As a nursing assistant, you play an important role in society. We are looking for new colleagues for our somatic care units.

Åkerhus care and nursing home, beautifully located near the sea in Önnered, has space for 102 residents distributed across three buildings. Our facilities include apartments dedicated to somatic care and nursing, for residents with cognitive impairment, and for elderly residents who use sign language.

We value your commitment and competence. You are the one who makes daily life function and become meaningful. In your work, you focus on the resident's health and utilize their individual resources. You motivate and stimulate the resident based on their individual conditions in their own home, which is part of the care and nursing home.

Your tasks include everything from personal care, support during meals, encouragement, and support in social activities, as well as collaboration with relatives. Some tasks are performed on behalf of licensed personnel. You also act as a contact person, helping the resident to formulate their needs and wishes.

Your working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

About You

Requirements

We are looking for you who are an educated nursing assistant, can show a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding the protected professional title, or can show that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced.

It is a requirement that you have previous experience from care and nursing work.

The job requires computer skills for documentation in IT systems and good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with others.

Merits

It is an asset if you have some form of further education relevant to work within care and nursing.
